Have you identified the kind of health you want for yourself? There’s so much that you can do in the last 3 months of this year to help create the lifestyle that supports your vision. Over the next two newsletters, I’m going to share six (6) easy-to-follow protocols that will help you start feeling the way you wish without feeling overwhelmed or restricted.
I chose the six protocols based on the commonalities I see amongst the clients with whom I work very closely. Lots are afflicted with nutritional deficiencies, pain & inflammation, digestive health & weight issues, emotional distress, and chronic fatigue. As a health practitioner, I know the connection that exists between these and I can almost assure you that once you start working on your biggest issue, you’ll start to see an improvement in other areas of your health. That’s the power of natural health!
What’s Screaming at You?
Which of the bullet points below resonates MOST with you?
- Less physical discomfort in my body and healthier inflammatory responses, please.
- Regardless of what I eat, my tummy feels BLAH.
- I want to be able to handle stress without losing my head.
- I don’t think I’m getting all the nutrients my body needs.
- I have very low energy, sometimes I’m not even sure how I make it through the day.
- I’m not looking forward to the coughing, sneezing and runny noses that tend to happen during colder temperatures.
Yes, there might be more than one that applies (there usually is), and still I want you to start by selecting the one that is screaming at you the loudest so you can move on to the protocol that will best serve you. Trust me! Taking on too much is not going to work in your favor.
Below, we’ll address the first three concerns from the list. Be on the lookout for the next newsletter that will have the daily practices to support 4, 5, and 6.
Daily Practices to Support 1, 2, and 3
1. Less physical discomfort in my body and healthier inflammatory responses, please.
Discomfort is your body’s natural way of telling you that there is something happening within that requires attention. Inflammation is the body’s natural response to whatever is happening within. Too much of either can lead to serious health complications and is taxing to your vital systems. The goal is to support your nervous system, musculoskeletal system and immune system in a way that promotes healthy responses to traumas and stressors that would otherwise manifest into achy conditions.
Turmeric has long been touted for its ability to support various body processed in a myriad of ways. However absorption of the curcuminoids found in the botanical has always been an issue, which is why it’s usually paired with a binding agent such as black pepper.
Our new dual chamber capsules offer a unique delivery system that combines the high antioxidant curcumin extract PLUS turmerone-loaded essential oil that offer joint support, healthy inflammatory responses, and helps fight free radicals and protects the body from oxidative damage.*
Copaiba is native to South America where it has been used for centuries to support the nervous system, cardiovascular system and more. It was recently named a “dietary cannabinoid” because of its ability to engage with our endocannabinoid system directly (particularly our CB2 receptors) without creating psychoactive effects like phytocannabinoids (such as hemp or CBD).
I believe that daily use of the turmeric + copaiba softgels will go a long way in promoting an active lifestyle! For added (and on-the-spot care), try the PastTense roller bottle. This is a staple in our home because we just never know when we’ll feel a little squeeze here or a litle pinch there!
2. Regardless of what I eat, my tummy feels BLAH.
Your digestive system is intended to run smoothly to help you break down the foods you eat, absorb nutrients, convert calories into energy, support healthy immune functions, and more. There are a lot of reasons why this isn’t happening as intended and there is a simple start to improving gut health, normalizing digestion and everything that ensues.
Digestive enzymes support the body’s constant production of enzymes critical for healthy biochemical functions, including healthy digestion of food nutrients and cellular metabolism of nutrients to energy.
Probiotics promote a positive balance and proliferation of beneficial bacteria; maintain healthy intestinal microflora balance; supports healthy functioning of the digestive and immune systems; support the health of the GI tract, particularly the intestines and colon; help support optimal metabolism and absorption of food. Pre-biotic FOS (fructooligosaccharides) found as part of the unique double-layer vegetable capsule helps protect the sensitive probiotic cultures from stomach acid.
3. Stress is part of life and I want to be able to handle it without losing my head.
Statistics alarming report that an average of 7 PEOPLE DIE FROM STRESS EVERY 2 SECONDS!
Your body does not recognize the difference between physical, emotional, or environmental stress, and what it undergoes when your sympathetic nervous system activates your fight or flight responses to keep you alive is both impressive and concerning. The latter because humans are not intended to operate under these conditions, yet it appears that most do therefore overwhelming their body and mind and contributing to the statistics above.
There is a better way of dealing with what life throws your way, my dear friend.
Adaptiv was introduced at this year’s convention, along with some of the most exciting clinical research conducted to support its formulation. The blend helps boost mood, increases feelings of tranquility, soothes and uplifts, calms and relaxes – I’m adding this to my list of “intelligent oils and combos” that give your body what it needs as it needs it.
The capsules contain a carefully-selected list of essential oils along with a clinically studied botanical, Sceletium extract, which has been known to promote a feeling of “alert serenity”. GABA is a quieting neurotransmitter known to promote relaxation by acting as the “brakes for the brain”, and is also a key ingredient in the dietary supplement.
