Your Emotions & Essential Oils
The Oil of
Community. It’s more than just a place or a thing – it’s a space where you feel a connection to those who see, hear, love, and accept you. This can be at home, with your church, with peers, and WITH yourself. (For many of us, especially these past few months, this is something that’s missing from our life.)
Community is what we’re building at Health and Vida. A space for all things physical & emotional healing. The space where you can learn more about who you are, what’s most important to you, and how to obtain inner peace and total wellness.
As I promised last week, here is the first of many blogs that connects emotions to essential oils – particularly how you wish to feel to the essential oil(s) that will help you create that feeling. I’m so glad that we’re starting with the Oil of Community.
Cedarwood is the Oil of Community. It is grounding and calming, and inspires connection to a source of strength, values, intimacy, and power.
Use it to form emotional connections and social bonds, and to create a sense of belonging and feeling supported.
HOW TO USE:
- Inhale from the bottle or from the palms of your hands to feel calm.
- Rub 1 drop on the bottom of each feet to feel grounded.
- Rub 1 drop over your solar plexus (2 inches above your belly button) and over your heart to feel connected.
- Diffuse with other essential oils to create a deeper experience. (Chill Pill is one of my favorites!)
